El computador como herramienta pedagógica para fomentar una actitud positiva hacia la lectura

    La investigación pretende determinar la eficacia del uso del computador como herramienta pedagógica para fomentar una actitud positiva hacia la lectura, en una unidad educativa del municipio Libertador, parroquia Spinetti Dini del estado Mérida. Se realizó un estudio de campo, de carácter descriptivo, con una muestra de 20 estudiantes. El conversatorio con los docentes de diferentes áreas de la institución determinó la necesidad de que los profesores se involucren en el uso de las nuevas tecnologías, que diseñen, proyecten y desarrollen situaciones de enseñanza-aprendizaje a través del computador, así como el empleo significativo de sus herramientas y programas en la práctica diaria. Los resultados permitieron determinar que el buen uso del computador, conlleva a desarrollar mejores hábitos hacia la lectura.

    This research aims at determining the effectiveness of the use of computers as a pedagogical tool for promoting a positive attitude towards reading, in an educational unit of Libertador Municipality, in Spinetti Dini Parish, of the state of Mérida, (supported by a previous inquiry). A descriptive field study was carried out, with a population and sample of 20 students. Likewise, through discussions with teachers from different areas of the institution, the need for teachers to be involved in the use of new technologies was determined; and it was considered that the teacher is the person who should be in charge of designing, projecting and developing teaching-learning situations through the computer, as well as the significant use of its devices and software in daily practice.

    The results allowed us to determine that the good use of technology (computers) leads to the development of better reading habits.
