Arte urbano en la interculturalidad: una experiencia artística y pedagógica en una comunidad Kichwa de Ecuador

    El presente artículo explora y analiza una experiencia artística en una comunidad kichwahablante perteneciente a la nacionalidad Saraguro, al sur de Ecuador; en el cual participé a través de un taller artístico de arte urbano, estructurado en tres fases: socialización, dibujo y pintura mural. Dicho taller se realizó con alumnos de la escuela “Tupak Yupanqui”, en la comunidad de Oñacápac; con quienes explore nociones sobre la filosofía y lengua kichwa; y permitieron hacer una valoración artística y pedagógica de las perspectivas culturales; por medio de estéticas del arte urbano aplicadas en el montaje de un mural artístico escolar. También se hace una exploración del concepto intercultural, a partir de su transitar histórico en el contexto indígena ecuatoriano, su influencia en el campo educativo, y su encuentro con el tema del arte urbano en la configuración de estrategias de preservación y fortalecimiento de prácticas y saberes culturales del pueblo Saraguro.

    This paper explores and analyzes an artistic experience in a Kichwa-speaking community belonging to the Saraguro nationality, in southern Ecuador; in which I participated through an artistic workshop of street art, structured in three phases: socialization, drawing and mural painting. This workshop was held with students from the “Tupak Yupanqui” school, in the Oñacápac community; with those who explore notions about Kichwa philosophy and language; and made it possible to make an artistic and pedagogical assessment of cultural perspectives; through aesthetics of street art applied in the assembly of a school artistic mural. There is also an exploration of the intercultural concept, based on its historical transit in the Ecuadorian indigenous context, its influence on the educational field, and its encounter with the theme of street art in the configuration of strategies for the preservation and strengthening of cultural practices and knowledge of the Saraguro people.
