La vida es una tómbola: imaginario social comunitario en presencia del Covid-19

    El propósito de este ensayo fue reflexionar acerca de la posibilidad de contagiarse con el COVID-19, al transgredir las normas de autocuidado, lo cual invita a hacerlo desde lo metafórico de la frase “la vida es una tómbola”; para centrar el impacto que sobrevino al escuchar decir “a mí no me va a pasar”, en tanto al recorrer la “ciudad jardín” de Venezuela,  percibí un aspecto del imaginario comunitario, respecto al significado que le otorgaban al riesgo de contagio,  lo que ha alterado  la vida cotidiana de la comunidad. Se trata de un conjunto de voces diversas y sus narraciones compartidas, a las cuales apliqué la hermenéutica de la escucha activa, donde emergen categorías clave del imaginario social comunitario, porque ellos son los protagonistas: la familia, la gente en la calle, expresando el pensamiento urbano acerca del azar de contagio, a propósito de las festividades navideñas.

    The purpose of this essay was to reflect on the possibility of being infected with COVID-19, by transgressing the rules of self-care, which invites us to do so from the metaphorical of the phrase "life is a tombola"; to focus on the impact that came from hearing "it's not going to happen to me", while touring the "garden city" of Venezuela, I perceived an aspect of the community imaginary, regarding the meaning they gave to the risk of contagion, which has altered the daily life of the community. It is a set of diverse voices and their shared narratives, to which I applied the hermeneutics of active listening, where key categories of the community social imaginary emerge, because they are the protagonists: the family, the people in the street, expressing the urban thought about the chance of contagion, about the Christmas festivities.
