The term "Gender Lens Investing”, (GLI) was coined in 2009 to define an emerging field of investments driven by a group of gender equity leaders. This term is closely linked to SDG 5, "gender equality", although reports of its evolution and academic articles show that GLI does not cover all the targets of this sustainable goal. The purpose of the present study is to analyze 15 aspects that derive from SDG 5 targets in 20 GLI-focused documents in order to detect those aspects that are emphasized, and those that are barely mentioned. The frequency of mention of these 15 aspects shows that GLI is more focused on women's leadership than on other aspects such as eradicating poverty among women and girls, or preventing sexual violence. Ultimately, this study seeks to delineate the awareness of the new concept and the general direction of the most common decision-making. It also lays the groundwork for future research to study the evolution of GLI. Gender
