Clima de aprendizaje y compromiso académico en estudiantes universitarios de Lima metropolitana

    El objetivo general de investigación fue determinar la relación entre el clima de aprendizaje y el compromiso académico en estudiantes de Educación Superior de una institución privada de Lima Metropolitana. El diseño de investigación fue no experimental descriptivo-correlacional. La población estuvo conformada por 1.925 estudiantes de las carreras de Arquitectura y Psicología. La muestra, de 260 universitarios con edades de 16 a 28 años, de ambos sexos, fue no probabilística, calculada por medio de la fórmula de determinación para muestras finitas. Se utilizaron como instrumentos el cuestionario de Clima de aprendizaje, integrado por 15 ítems y para la variable compromiso académico de los universitarios, el cuestionario Utretch Work Engagement Scale for Students (UWES-S), conformado por nueve ítems. Los resultados indican una relación significativa y alta, entre el compromiso académico y el clima de aprendizaje (p < 0.001). Se concluye que un buen clima de aprendizaje garantizará un mayor compromiso académico.

    The general objective of the research was to determine the relationship between the learning climate and academic commitment in Higher Education students from a private institution in Lima Metropolitana. The research design was non-experimental descriptive-correlational. The population was made up of 1,925 students of the Architecture and Psychology careers. The sample, of 260 university students aged 16 to 28, of both sexes, was non-probabilistic, calculated using the determination formula for finite samples. The Learning Climate questionnaire, made up of 15 items, and the Utretch Work Engagement Scale for Students (UWES-S) questionnaire, made up of nine items, were used as instruments. The results indicate a significant and high relationship between academic engagement and learning climate (p < 0.001). It is concluded that a good learning climate will guarantee a greater academic commitment.
