Inclusión de contenidos de educación financiera en los programas académicos del sistema educativo venezolano

    El objetivo de la presente investigación fue indagar sobre la inclusión de contenidos de educación financiera en los programas académicos del sistema educativo venezolano. Corresponde a un estudio de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental y descriptivo. La población fue seleccionada a través de un muestreo aleatorio simple, conformada por 129 docentes de los distintos niveles del sistema educativo venezolano, los cuales fueron encuestados por medio de un cuestionario. Los principales resultados relacionan el conocimiento e importancia de la educación financiera en el currículum, las estrategias de enseñanza utilizadas y la influencia del contexto actual. A modo de conclusión, se evidenció que los docentes poseen un mediano conocimiento del tema, que el uso de estrategias de tipo participativo ha tomado preponderancia en este proceso de enseñanza, y que el contexto actual incide, indefectiblemente, en la búsqueda de alternativas orientadas a educar financieramente a los individuos.

    The objective of this investigation was to inquiry the inclusion of Financial Education contents in the academic programs of the Venezuelan education system. This investigation is a quantitative, non-experimental, and descriptive study. The population was selected through a simple random sampling, and it was made up of 129 teachers from the different levels of the Venezuelan education system, who were surveyed by means of a questionnaire. The main results relate the knowledge and importance of Financial Education in the curriculum design, the teaching strategies used, and the influence of the current context. In conclusion, it was shown that teachers have an average knowledge of the subject, and the usage of participative strategies has become prevalent in this teaching process. Also, the current context inevitably influences the searching for alternatives, which are oriented to financially educate individuals.
