Resumen de Universidad en América Latina y el conocimiento libre: la autonomía del siglo XXI

A la luz del centenario del Manifiesto Liminar (2018) que da lugar a un debate de la autonomía universitaria en América Latina, se propone un esquema de una autonomía configurada a la luz de la modernidad como proyecto universal, el surgimiento del pensamiento crítico latinoamericano y, finalmente, la autonomía como la posibilidad de garantizar el cultivo de los núcleos problemáticos en las distintas culturas desde una noción de pluriverso. El argumento consiste en el despliegue de las formas de autonomía en la modernidad y la universidad en general para luego referirse al caso latinoamericano y la relevancia del conocimiento abierto para la autonomía universitaria en el siglo XXI.

Following the centenary of the Manifesto Liminar that constitutes a keystone on the debate about autonomy in the university, a scheme of this autonomy is unfolded from the modernity as a pretended universal project, the rising of the Latinoamerican Critical Thinking and the need to consider the autonomy of the universities as the possibility of engaging on the inquiry of the problematic core of different cultures from the notion of “pluriverso”.
The argument explores an autonomy rising as a global issue to finally explores the impact on the Latin American milieu and the relevance of open knowledge to this autonomy
