Aquest treball analitza la influència que exercí la reforma ortogràfica portuguesa de1911 en la reforma fabriana de 1913, a partir de les figures artífexs d’ambdues reformes, Gonçal-ves Viana i Pompeu Fabra. Al seu torn, s’hi fa especial èmfasi en la figura del lusitanista IgnasiRibera i Rovira, considerat el mediador més important de l’època entre ambdues nacions.

This dissertation analyses the influence caused by the 1911’s Portuguese ortogra -phic reform on the 1913’s Catalan ortographic reform, basically operated between the authors ofboth reforms, Gonçalves Viana and Pompeu Fabra. We will also put the emphasis on the lusophi-le Ignasi Ribera i Rovira, considered to be the most important mediator for the relationships bet-ween those nations at that time.
