    La localidad de Bogarra (Albacete, España), inmersa en plena naturaleza ha venido realizando motu propio, la Ruta de las Esculturas, un evento escultórico a lo largo del río en el que participan algunas personas relacionadas con los trabajos en piedra. El pasado año se nos convocó a participar, como profesores del Área de Escultura de la Facultad de Bellas Artes (UMH). In situ vimos las posibilidades de dotar al evento de un mayor valor artístico extensible a los espacios urbanos del municipio y así, planteamos el reto de realizar intervenciones plásticas en el casco urbano a fin de revitalizar y dar un aire nuevo y especial a esta localidad, entregando a los caminantes y habitantes un nuevo modo de ver y percibir su entorno. Y así ha surgido BOGARRA, Proyecto plástico de intervención urbana 2018: muros, paredes y cualquier soporte rocoso del espacio común, intervenidos artísticamente con la finalidad de mejorar la imagen del municipio, crear oportunidades que atraigan al visitante y el emprendedurismo.

    Bogarra's locality (Albacete, Spain), immersed in the middle of nature has come realizing motu proprio, the Ruta de las Esculturas, a sculptural event along the river in which some persons people involved with stone works participate. Last year we were invited to participate as professors of the Sculpture Area of the Faculty of Fine Arts (UMH). In situ we saw the possibilities of providing the event with a greater artistic value that could be extended to the urban spaces of the municipality and, thus, we proposed the challenge of carrying out plastic interventions in the urban area in order to revitalize and give a new and special air to this town, giving the walkers and inhabitants a new way of seeing and perceiving their surroundings. And this is how BOGARRA, Proyecto plástico de intervención urbana 2018, has come into being: walls, walls and any rocky support in the common space, artistically intervened with the aim of improving the image of the municipality, creating opportunities that attract visitors and entrepreneurship.
