    Desde mediados del siglo XX la televisión nació, creció y tuvo una rápida expansión en el mundo. Sin embargo, el siglo XXI trajo importantes cambios en la industria. Con la revolución digital todos los medios de comunicación sufrieron grandes transformaciones y sin, duda la televisión no se quedó atrás. La convergencia mediática, la hibridación de géneros y formatos, así como el surgimiento de las nuevas lógicas de apropiación y consumo en las audiencias, no solo permitieron el visionado online de canales de televisión, sino que abrieron la puerta para la distribución exclusiva de contenidos a través de la nube. Esta ponencia analiza el caso de la plataforma Netflix como modelo de televisión netcasting. Se detiene especialmente en las diferentes modalidades de producción original, así en los cambios y convergencias que ha sufrido esta industria del entretenimiento que es híbrido entre el cine, la televisión y la Internet.

    Since the mid-twentieth century television was born, grew and had a rapid expansion in the world. However, the twenty-first century brought important changes in the industry. With the digital revolution all the media underwent major transformations and without doubt the television was not far behind. Media convergence, the hybridization of genres and formats, as well as the emergence of the new logics of appropriation and consumption in the audiences, not only allowed the online viewing of television channels, but opened the door for the exclusive distribution of contents to Through the cloud. This paper analyzes the case of the Netflix platform as television model netcasting. It stops especially in the different modalities of original production, as well as in the changes and convergences that has undergone this entertainment industry that is hybrid between the cinema, the television and the Internet.
