Resumen de Current situation and future outlook for construction waste in new buildings

Since construction is one of the oldest trades in the world, so is the waste producedin this industry. However, it was over time that some of these elements started tobecome a social problem specifically when they began to generate a negative environmentalimpact. In this article, we review some strategies focused on mitigatingenvironmental damage such as waste regulation, optimization of construction processes,and waste reuse (for construction and non-construction purposes). We willsee some examples and difficulties in such strategies to capture a perspective onconstruction waste in new buildings.
