  • Resumen
    • Since construction is one of the oldest trades in the world, so is the waste producedin this industry. However, it was over time that some of these elements started tobecome a social problem specifically when they began to generate a negative environmentalimpact. In this article, we review some strategies focused on mitigatingenvironmental damage such as waste regulation, optimization of construction processes, and waste reuse (for construction and non-construction purposes). We willsee some examples and difficulties in such strategies to capture a perspective onconstruction waste in new buildings.
