Traducción y doblaxe na Televisión del Principáu d’Asturies (TPA): un enfoque paratraductivu

    Nos años ochenta nacieron les televisiones autonómiques de Galicia, País Vascu y Cataluña, col oxetivu de potenciar y normalizar l’usu de les llingües propies y convertise nes entidaes iniciadores del llabor de la traducción de material audiovisual extraxeru a estes llingües; por embargu, hai mui poca lliteratura científica dedicada a l’estudiu de la traducción audiovisual –y, por consiguiente, al doblaxe– n’Asturies, comunidá que tamién cuenta con una canal pública. Nesti artículu daremos cuenta de los factores que propiciaron el nacimientu de la Televisión del Principáu d’Asturies (TPA) y de la importancia que tien la traducción pal doblaxe n’asturianu na normalización llingüística de la llingua asturiana. Depués, analizaremos les causes de la falta de traducción pal doblaxe nesa llingua, per parte de la canal pública, dende una perspectiva ideolóxica y paratraductiva.

    In the 1980s, the television channels of the autonomous communities of Galicia, Basque Country and Catalonia came into being with the aims of promoting the normal use of Galician, Basque and Catalan, and initiating the translation of foreignaudiovisual materials into these languages. Nevertheless, there is very little scientific literature on audiovisual translation —and therefore on dubbing— in the region of Asturias, which also has a public television channel. In this article, firstly we will address the factors that led to the birth of the Asturian regional television channel (TPA), as wellas the importance of translation for dubbing into Asturian for the normalization process of this language. Subsequently, we will tackle the causes of the lack of translation fordubbing in the Asturian regional channel, from a paratranslational and ideological approach.
