El territorio y su relevancia argumentativa en las exposiciones de los museos de la Región de la Araucanía

    En este trabajo proponemos un análisis de los esquemas de argumento por signo que fueron identificados en las etiquetas interpretativas de las exposiciones permanentes de los museos de la región de la Araucanía. Se analizan cualitativa y críticamente tres casos de los veintiún esquemas por signo identificados. Las herramientas teóricas esgrimidas proceden de la pragma-dialéctica y la lógica informal. Nuestro objetivo es caracterizar los esquemas por signo identificados en las etiquetas de las exhibiciones de los museos de la Araucanía, en la búsqueda de orientar su manejo en el diseño de exhibiciones museísticas significativas. Para ello, hemos desarrollado una matriz metodológica que adopta el levantamiento de una estructura argumental. Así, fue posible identificar los puntos de vista como las razones que lo justifican, además de identificar los esquemas argumentativos, a los cuales se les ha aplicado sus respectivas preguntas críticas. El análisis nos permitió concluir que en el empleo del esquema por signo siempre es necesario apoyarse en el entorno cercano donde se maneja el argumento, esto incluye la noción de lugar o de territorio en sus distintos niveles de significación. Asimismo, se ha comprobado como fundamental la incorporación de la tercera pregunta crítica al esquema por signo, la cual hace referencia al contexto donde se presenta el argumento. Por último, se ha detectado que los esquemas considerados complejos también realizan una referencia al lugar, pero con la utilización y combinación de variadas figuras retóricas, como la resignificación o sustitución

    In this paper we propose an analysis of the argument schemes by sign, which were identified in the interpretative labels of the permanent exhibitions of the museums of the Araucanía region. Three cases of the twenty-one identified argument-by-sign schemes are analyzed qualitatively and critically. The theoretical tools used come from pragma-dialectics and informal logic. Our objective is to characterize the sign schemes identified in the labels of the exhibits of the museums of Araucanía, in order to guide their management in the design of meaningful museum exhibits. For this purpose, we have developed a methodological matrix that combines the survey of an argumentative structure, so it was possible to identify the points of view as the reasons that justify it, and the identification of the argumentative schemes to which their respective critical questions have been applied. The analysis will allow us to conclude that, in the use of the scheme by sign it is always necessary to rely on the close environment where the argument is used, this includes the notion of place or territory in its different levels of significance. In addition, the incorporation of the third critical question to the schema by sign, which refers to the context where the argument is presented, has been found to be fundamental. Finally, it has been detected that the schemes considered complex, also make a reference to place, but with the use and combination of various rhetorical figures, such as resignification or substitution.
