Lectura de imágenes de los libros de texto: propuesta de lectura no androcéntrica

    En nuestro Sistema Educativo se ha producido un cambio cualitativo importante, la incorporación de las mujeres y su participación en todos los niveles de la enseñanza, en una proporción similar a la de los hombres. Pero esto, que supone un avance significativo, por un lado, se encuentra mediatizado por la persistencia de actitudes y comportamientos sexistas, que se puedan transmitir a las nuevas generaciones a través de los libros de texto que se utilizan en las aulas. El nuevo giro que supone la implantación de la LOGSE, con la incorporación de los temas transversales, el uso del lenguaje sexista en los libros de texto ha disminuido; sin embargo, el uso de las imágenes que aparecen en los mismos, y que en ocasiones, acompañan al texto escrito, sigue siendo discriminatorias y basadas en estereotipos sexistas. La comunicación que presentamos resume la investigación realizada en los libros de Lengua y Literatura de la ESO, y en ella se explicitan las primeras conclusiones del estudio, respecto a la presencia/ausencia de mujeres en las imágenes, los estereotipos que se reflejan en ellas y las diversas lecturas que permiten.

    There has been an important qualitative change in our Educational System, the incorporation of the woman and her participation in all the teaching levels with similar proportion to men. But, being a signifiant progress, it is interfered with persistence of attitudes and sexist behaviour found in the text books for the classrooms. The new change with the introduction of LOGSE and the incorporation of the transverse syllabes, the use of the sexist language in the text books has diminished; however, the use of the images that you/they appear in the same ones, and that in occasions, they accompany to the written text, they continue being discriminatory and based on sexist stereotypes. The communication that we present summarizes the investigation carried out in the books of text of Language and Literature of the ESO and in it appears the first conclusions of the study regarding the presence or absence women’s in the images, the stereotypes that are reflected in them and the diverse readings that allow.
