    A través de los relatos que el jesuita Padre Calatayud dejó manuscritos, es posible acercarse a la Historia socio-cultural de Castilla y Portugal en los años centrales del siglo XVIII. La vivencia de lo religioso: lo que conoce, cómo lo interpreta y lo transmite, es sin duda un testimonio directo de las sensibilidades y devociones, pero también de las trasgresiones y pecados más comunes con los que se encuentra en sus misiones. Hemos analizados estas desviaciones desde las presencias femeninas: las de aquellas mujeres que pecaron por su debilidad y no respetaron el sexto mandamiento o el sacramento del matrimonio.

    It is possible to approach the socio-cultural History of Castile and Portugal in the central ages of the XVIII century through the manuscript tales written by the Jesuit Father Calatayud. The religious experience: what he knows, the way it is interpreted and transmitted by him is, without any kind of doubt, a direct testimony of sensitivities and devotions, as well as the most common transgressions and sins in which his missions are found. We have analysed these digressions from women´s presences: the ones of those women who sinned due to their weakness and did not respect the sixth commandment or the sacrament of matrimony.
