    El turismo rural es un elemento determinante para el desarrollo de las zonas rurales, y con la riqueza y diversidad de los recursos naturales, el patrimonio histórico, artístico y cultural que poseen Andalucía y la provincia de Córdoba, hacen posible el auge del sector analizado en esta región. Para que la demanda de turismo rural sea significativa y genere un desarrollo turístico y económico, han de implementarse las estrategias de marketing adecuadas una vez establecido el perfil del turista rural. Con la aparición del COVID-19 en el año 2020, el sector turístico se ha visto muy afectado, aunque las cifras relativas a turismo rural reflejan una caída menor si las comparamos con otros sectores conexos.

    Rural tourism is a determining element for the development of rural areas, and with the wealth and diversity of natural resources, the historical, artistic and cultural heritage that Andalusia and the province of Córdoba have, they make possible the boom of the sector analyzed in this region. For the demand for rural tourism to be significant and generate tourist and economic development, the appropriate marketing strategies must be implemented once the profile of the rural tourist has been established. With the appearance of COVID-19, tourism has been affected, although the rural tourism reflect a smaller drop compared with other related sectors.
