    El presente trabajo de Investigación Educativa Basada en las Artes pretende mostrar las posibilidades metodológicas de la autobiografía en el campo de la Educación Artística de cara a compartir una historia de vida afro por medio de las artes en un contexto educativo no formal con mujeres de Afrogalegas: es un colectivo afrofeminista de mujeres negras de Galicia. El planteamiento era generar reflexión, autoaceptación y empoderamiento en las participantes tras la puesta en práctica de estrategias artísticas contemporáneas con base en nuestras historias de vida como mujeres negras; recuperar nuestra historia recurriendo medios artísticos. Las acciones propuestas en el taller han buscado crear situaciones de intercambio y movimiento en el grupo que mejoraran nuestra unión y permitieran que luchásemos juntas; trabajar con la autoestima de cada una a nivel individual para mejorar el ambiente grupal. Solo entonces podríamos visibilizar, compartir, denunciar y criticar actitudes racistas. Compartiríamos nuestra realidad afrodescendiente con nuestras “iguales” y con los demás para hacerla visible. Las acciones se llevan a cabo en un espacio público como la biblioteca de la Sagrada Familia de A Coruña, lugar en el que no solemos ser mayoría, lo que supone un acto político. Se provoca una reflexión consciente en la sociedad a partir de nuestra intervención, que empodera al público, fomenta su autoconocimiento y anima a una mayor aceptación y respeto por una misma y por el resto.

    The present work of Educational Research Based on the Arts aims to show the methodological possibilities of autobiography in the field of Art Education in order to share an Afro life story through the arts in a non-formal educational context with Afro-Galician women: is an Afro-feminist collective of black women from Galicia. The approach was to generate reflection, self-acceptance and empowerment in the participants after the implementation of contemporary artistic strategies based on our life stories as black women; recover our history resorting to artistic means. The actions proposed in the workshop have sought to create situations of exchange and movement in the group that would improve our union and allow us to fight together; work with the self-esteem of each one individually to improve the group environment. Only then could we make visible, share, denounce and criticize racist attitudes. We would share our Afro-descendant reality with our “equals” and with others to make it visible. The actions are carried out in a public space such as the Sagrada Familia library in A Coruña, a place where we are not usually a majority, which is a political act. A conscious reflection is provoked in society from our intervention, which empowers the public, fosters their self-knowledge and encourages greater acceptance and respect for oneself and for others.
