    Este artículo de investigación presenta el trabajo colaborativo realizado por dos universidades colombianas sobre el diseño e implementación de un recurso didáctico para docentes y estudiantes de ELE (español como lengua extranjera), con componente cultural colombiano. El objetivo central de este trabajo es evaluar el impacto del diseño y la implementación de un recurso didáctico, como material complementario a los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje de ELE, con un énfasis en la cultura colombiana. Para lograr el objetivo, el grupo investigador hizo una revisión de diferentes conceptos y percepciones sobre este tema. Este estudio sigue la ruta metodológica establecida por la investigación-acción, desde una visión cualitativa, según McNiff (2005), y se desarrolló en tres etapas. En la primera, se hizo la elaboración y el pilotaje del recurso didáctico; en la segunda, se hizo la implementación del recurso en las sesiones de ELE de las dos instituciones participantes; y en la tercera se hizo la evaluación del recurso didáctico a través de rejillas de evaluación y entrevistas semi-estructuradas. Con el fin de responder la pregunta de investigación planteada en este proyecto y cumplir con el objetivo propuesto, los hallazgos se presentan a partir de la aplicación de los instrumentos, el proceso de triangulación hermenéutica y el análisis de la información recolectada. Se concluye que el recurso es pertinente y facilita la apropiación del conocimiento, por medio de estrategias orientadas al desarrollo de la competencia intercultural. Finalmente, a partir de los hallazgos se presentan las conclusiones y las implicaciones para el desarrollo de futuras propuestas relacionadas con este campo de estudio.

    This research article presents the collaborative work carried out by two Colombian universities on the design and implementation of a teaching resource for ELE teachers (Spanish as a foreign language), with a Colombian cultural component. The main objective of this research project was to evaluate the impact a teaching resource for ELE teachers, with emphasis on the Colombian cultural component, had on their practices. With the aim of making a brief contextualization of the use of the cultural component in foreign language classes, the research group reviewed different concepts and perceptions on this topic. This research project drew on the principles of action-research, from a qualitative view, according to McNiff (2005), and was conducted in three stages. In the first, the teaching resource was designed and piloted. In the second, it was implemented in the ELE sessions of the two participating institutions, and in the third stage, the resource was assessed by means of evaluation grids and semi-structured interviews. With the purpose of answering the research question and accomplishing the objectives stated in this study, the findings are presented from the application of the instruments, the process of the hermeneutic triangulation, and the analysis of the data collected. It is concluded that the resource is relevant and facilitates the appropriation of knowledge, through strategies aimed at the development of intercultural competence. Finally, based on the findings that emerged from this project, the conclusions and implications for the development of further studies related to this area are presented.
