Numerous specialists have spoken out about the changes produced in the educational field from the social isolation generated from COVID-19. They have done so through publications, forums, discussions, videoconferences that promote the expression of the voices of specialists and the teaching community. For this, as part of the actions carried out by the Open Educational Practices Laboratory (PEA-LAB) (UNESCO-TEC Chair, 2018) a study was designed with a qualitative-quantitative approach with exploratory-descriptive inquiry in which Two of the ten questions that make up the applied questionnaire are analyzed, which included open questions (spontaneous response), and closed questions (nominal and numerical). The objective of this article is to share the voices of teachers (DV) who reside in different Latin American countries about the challenges they have faced and how they have responded to them. The sampling system used was, firstly, "snowball" and secondly, the publication on the social network Facebook through a Google form. The sample consisted of 537 people from 10 Latin American countries. In the answers given by the teachers, it was possible to identify that a high percentage experienced a sudden change between the face-to-face and virtual situation, to which they responded through training; a repertoire of terms related to virtual environments also emerged. The degree of satisfaction with the path traveled can be highlighted from the responses obtained, some indicating "I did it" and others "I did what I could".
