    En la obra de Khatibi, la interrogación sobre la lengua ocupa un lugar capital. La Mémoire tatouée, su primera obra, permite esclarecer el conjunto de la obra de este gran escritor instaurando la dualidad entre la lengua de origen y la otra, la del «descolonizador». La partición del ser y el camino del autor en los siguientes relatos conducen poco a poco a una transcendencia de esa dualidad al bordear otras espiritualidades y por la apropiación de culturas perteneciendo a diversos horizontes que el presente artículo se emplea a examinar.

    In the works of Khatibi, the question of language plays a major role. La Mémoire tatouée, his first book, sheds light on the whole of this great au-thor’s works by establishing the duality between the language of origin and the other one, that of the colonizer. The partition of the human being and the progress of the writer’s thoughts through his subsequent works gradually lead towards a transcending of this duality through the proximity of different forms of spirituality and the appropriation of cultures coming from different horizons; this is what this article will endeavour to examine.
