    El mito del Inkarri representa el espíritu reivindicador del universo sociocultural quechua sometido y humillado. Sin embargo, sus alcances no se limitan al mundo al representado, sino también a otros que han sufrido el sometimiento político, social y cultural. Se trata de un mito actual con raíces en el pasado colonial. Subyace en la memoria y el imaginario colectivo, y se manifiesta a través de relatos orales, poemas y canciones, con variaciones que mantienen el eje central de la argumentación.

    The Inkarri myth represents the vindicating spirit of the subjugated and humiliated Quechua sociocultural universe. However, its scope is not limited to the world represented, but also to others who have suffered political, social and cultural subjection. It is a current myth with roots in the colonial past. It underlies the memory and the collective imagination, and is manifested through oral stories, poems and songs, with variations that maintain the central axis of the argument.
