    This article concerns itself with the manner of representation of insanity in the dramatic texts of Jean-François-Farid Boukraba. The analyses concentrate on three unknown plays of 2013. The main goal is to highlight the dramatic logic shared by all these texts, with psychosis and violence transforming into various types of liberation, prompting the reader to reflect critically upon the various aspects of modern society’s functioning. The other task of this article is to pinpoint the specific characteristics of Boukraba’s dramaturgy based on striking schizophrenic dichotomies. From the methodological perspective, this study combines theatrological and psychiatric toolsets.

    Le présent article concerne la représentation de la folie dans les textes dramatiques de Jean-François-Farid Boukraba. Les analyses se concentrent sur trois pièces inconnues publiées en 2013. L’objectif principal de l’article est de mettre en évidence la logique dramaturgique commune à tous ces textes : celle de la psychose qui se mue en libération, en provoquant une réflexion critique d’ordre social. Le second objectif de l’article est de saisir la spécificité de la dramaturgie de Boukraba qui repose sur de violentes dichotomies schizophréniques. Méthodologiquement, l’étude conjugue des outils théâtrologiques et psychiatriques.
