    Este artículo muestra mi reflexión originada por la repercusión que tuvo en mi concepción científica, epistemológica y pedagógica, la lectura de la obra del prestigioso biólogo, filósofo y epistemólogo chileno Humberto Maturana. Se analiza el pensamiento de Maturana y sus implicaciones para la ciencia, la epistemología, y sobre todo para la educación. En este artículo revelo la ontología, la epistemología y la teoría cognitiva propuesta por Maturana. Se analiza su forma de abordar los problemas epistemológicos relacionados con los sistemas vivos determinados por su estructura. En este artículo se intenta presentar sus aportaciones más significativas y trascendentales, en una humilde osadía de hacerlas más inteligibles. Con este artículo se facilita una lectura integral, una mirada configurativa y una comprensión holística del pensamiento científico de Humberto Maturana y se reflexiona sobre la percepción, la ilusión, el conocimiento, la conciencia, el pensamiento, la reflexión y la inteligencia humana, cualidades que integran la configuración cognitiva-intelectual del ser humano.

    This article shows my reflection caused by the impact that had on my scientific, epistemological and pedagogical, design the reading of the work of the prestigious biologist, philosopher and epistemologist Chilean Humberto Maturana. Discusses the thought of Maturana and implications for science, epistemology, and above all for education. In this article I reveal the ontology, epistemology and cognitive theory proposed by Maturana. Discusses his way of dealing with the epistemological problems related to living systems determined by its structure. This article tries to present their contributions more meaningful and far-reaching, in a humble courage to make them more intelligible. This article provides a comprehensive reading, a configurative look and a holistic understanding of the scientific thought of Humberto Maturana and reflects on the perception, illusion, knowledge, awareness, thought, reflection and human intelligence, qualities that make up the cognitive and intellectual configuration of the human.
