    La plana de Urgell es un territorio que reune las condiciones medioambientales necesarias para el asentamiento humano desde la prehistoria:las distintas sociedades históricas han transformado y adaptado este espacio a sus necesidades, como se puede observar en la gran cantidad de yacimientos conocidos hasta el momento. El Tossal Roig (Bellvís, el Pla d'Urgell) es una nuestra más de esta ocupación humana en época antigua en un territorio densamente poblado y aquí se presentan las primeras evidencias de este asentamiento rural de entre los siglos II aC al II dC

    The Urgell plain is a territory that meets the necessary environmental conditions for human settlement since prehistoric times: the different historical societies have transformed and adapted this space to their needs, as can be seen in the large number of sites known to date. The Tossal Roig (Bellvís, Pla d'Urgell) is one of ours of this human occupation in ancient times in a densely populated territory and here the first evidence of this rural settlement from the 2nd century BC to the 2nd century AD is presented.
