    El arte contemporáneo ha desestabilizado, roto y modificado todos los parámetros artísticos que definian qué era el arte a lo largo de la historia del arte y hasta mitad del siglo XX. Los artistas y sus inquietudes se han volcado a lenguajes, maerializaciones y transformaciones que no siempre han sido aceptadas ni cómodas para el público los museos y el propio mercado artístico. Con esta perspectiva abordamos cómo el arte contemporáneo y todo su potencial ha ocupado, conquistado o seducido las salas de exposiciones y museos de las tierras de Lleida transformando nuestra propia identidad. En este dossier analizamos cómo la mirada artística contemporánea ha alimentado los discursos patrimoniales y ha abierto debates críticos en nuestros espacios.

    Contemporary art has destabilized, broken and modified all the artistic parameters that defined what art was throughout the history of art and until the middle of the 20th century. The artists and their concerns have turned to languages, materializations and transformations that have not always been accepted or comfortable for the public, museums and the art market itself. With this perspective we approach how contemporary art and all its potential has occupied, conquered or seduced the exhibition halls and museums of the lands of Lleida, transforming our own identity. In this dossier we analyze how the contemporary artistic gaze has fed the heritage discourses and has opened critical debates in our spaces.
