    This article discusses the influence that the Family environment has on the educational development of deaf children registered in regular classrooms, as well as the merit of the presence of the parents within the school community, contributing together with the school and the teachers to the progress of the learning of the hearing impaired. However, according to the school, parental participation has had a positive effect on student learning and observed a satisfactory learning in the classroom. The aim of the study was to understand the importance of parental collaboration in the educational process of children and in what way this interaction can flow in the development of students with deafness. The mothers of students not listening to the regular teaching classroom participate in the data collection. The qualitative field research. Was carried out in a primary school located in the municipality of Recife / Pernambuco, whereby all material was obtained through interviews and questionnaires containing open and closed questions. Therefore, the presence and participation of parentes.Within the school context is indisputable, witch has shown satisfactory results for both the student adn the school. In this way, the school has seen the active participation of parents as a positive contribution in the learning of deaf students.

    Este artigo aborda a influência que o meio familiar tem no desenvolvimento educacional dos filhos surdos matriculados nas salas de aulas regulares, assim como o mérito da presença dos pais dentro da comunidade escolar, contribuindo com a escola e os professores para o progresso da aprendizagem dos surdos. De acordo com a escola, a participação dos pais tem nutrido resultados positivos na aprendizagem dos alunos, com uma aprendizagem satisfatória na sala de aula. O estudo teve como objetivo compreender a importância da colaboração dos pais no processo educacional dos filhos e de que maneira essa interação pode fluir no desenvolvimento dos alunos com surdez. Participaram da coleta de dados as mães dos alunos não ouvintes da sala de aula regular de ensino. A pesquisa de campo de cunho qualitativa foi realizada em uma escola do ensino fundamental I, localizada no município de Recife/Pernambuco, sendo, portanto, todo material conseguido por meio de interrogatórios e questionários contendo perguntas abertas e fechadas. Para a escola, é indiscutível a presença e participação dos pais dentro do contexto escolar, o que vem mostrando resultados satisfatórios, tanto para o aluno, quanto para a escola. Desse modo, a escola tem visto a participação ativa dos pais como uma ferramenta positiva na aprendizagem dos alunos surdos.
