Tecnologia da informação e gestão do conhecimento em uma organização militar: Uma abordagem interpretativa

    The management of the knowledge has been a subject sufficiently explored as competitive strategy for diverse organizations. In this context, the present paper has for objective to analyze the adoption of the “Corporative Vestibule” of 6ª Region of Military Policy of the State of Minas Gerais and its use as tool of sharing and dissemination of the organizational knowledge. For in such a way, some considerations regarding TI and of the management of the knowledge in the organizations are presented. The privileged dimension is the subjectivity of the organizational actors. The relation enters the use of the technology of the information and the management of the knowledge was analyzed of interpretative form. The process of sharing and dissemination of the knowledge could be evaluated under three categories: the institutional agent (the organizational members and its action), technology (the Corporative Vestibule and its implications for the process of construction of the organizational knowledge) and properties (the social environment in which if gives to the interactions between agent and technology). Its verified that such categories are influenced by themselves and contribute for the process of dissemination of knowledge in the organization. One gives credit that the paper contributes as source of subsidy for the improvements and changes in the organizations

    A tecnologia da informação (TI), como ferramenta de gestão do conhecimento, tem sido um tema bastante explorado em diversas organizações, principalmente no que tange aos processos de mudança organizacional. Por meio do presente estudo, objetiva-se analisar a adoção do Portal Corporativo na 6ª Região da Polícia Militar do Estado de Minas Gerais, bem como seu uso como ferramenta de compartilhamento e disseminação do conhecimento organizacional. Para tanto, são apresentadas algumas considerações a respeito da TI e da gestão do conhecimento nas organizações. A dimensão privilegiada é a subjetividade dos atores organizacionais, por isso, adotou-se a metodologia qualitativa/interpretativa. O processo de compartilhamento e disseminação do conhecimento pôde ser avaliado sob três categorias: o agente (os membros organizacionais e suas ações), a tecnologia (o Portal Corporativo e suas implicações para o processo de construção do conhecimento organizacional) e as propriedades institucionais ( o ambiente social das interações entre agente e tecnologia). Verificou-se que tais categorias influenciam-se mutuamente e contribuem para o processo de disseminação de conhecimento na organização. Acredita-se que o trabalho contribui como fonte de subsídio para as melhorias e mudanças organizacionais.
