Los valores en educación secundaria y su relación con los agentes educativos

    Nos aproximamos al concepto de valor con el objetivo de su integración en la práctica educativa al entender que es un tema esencial para la adecuada convivencia en educación secundaria. Desde una metodología Sociocrítica, diferenciamos los términos valor, sentimiento y emoción para seguidamente, desde un análisis crítico, tratar los valores dentro de diferentes ámbitos como son el social, escolar y familiar. En el ámbito familiar nos adentramos en conceptos como el “amor responsable”, “honestidad”, “culpa”, “autoestima” o “modelos de familias”. Desde el ámbito escolar profundizamos en el componente moral que toda actividad docente tiene inevitablemente, intentando dar respuestas a interrogantes como qué valores debemos transmitir y cómo hacerlo. Desde la perspectiva sociológica analizamos como los seres humanos son objeto de relaciones sociales y están determinados por la influencia social. Como resultados esperados o conclusiones pretendemos evidenciar como los seres humanos también reproducen de manera activa determinadas influencias, por lo que la educación en valores sería producto y consecuencia del medio social. Finalmente, conectamos la importancia de una educación para la ciudadanía con los valores inspiradores de organismos internacionales como la UNESCO y más localmente con las Recomendaciones del Parlamento Europeo y la Constitución Española.

    This paper approaches the concept of values and its integration in the educational practice, understanding that it is an essential topic for the adequate coexistence in secondary education.

    Firstly, it is important to differentiate the following terms: values, feelings and emotions. Secondly, we address values within different fields such as social, scholar and familiar contexts. In the family sphere are assessed concepts such as "responsible love", "honesty", "guilt", "self-esteem" or "family models".

    Regarding the school environment, we delve into the moral component that every teaching activity inevitably has. From this approach, we try to answer questions such as which values should we convey and how to do it. Finally, considering the social sphere, we point at how from this sociological scope of the study of values human beings are the object of social relations and are determined by social influence. Furthermore, human beings also actively reproduce certain influences, that is why education of values is a product and consequence of the social environment. In conclusion, we stress the importance of an education for citizenship that support the inspiring values of international organizations such as UNESCO and more locally with the Recommendations of the European Parliament and the Spanish Constitution.
