La investigación como estrategia pedagógica para la preservación del patrimonio cultural

    La cultura es una representación social y simbólica que enriquece la identidad de un lugar y hace referencia a la obra producida por la acción humana que puede ser material o inmaterial; la cual se reproduce y se disfruta por generaciones, constituyendo las raíces históricas de un territorio. El presente artículo tiene como propósito compartir los resultados derivados de la implementación del modelo de la investigación como estrategia pedagógica (IEP) aplicado a la preservación del patrimonio cultural del Corregimiento Cantagallar. El estudio se orientó bajo los lineamientos de la ruta metodológica de la IEP, se utilizaron instrumentos de recolección tales como registros de diarios de campo para la observación, formatos para registro de entrevistas y grupos focales; la unidad de análisis estuvo conformada por cuarenta (40) estudiantes de la Institución Educativa Rural Cantagallar, del Municipio del Piñón, Magdalena. Los estudiantes pudieron debatir lo que omitían su municipio y la riqueza cultural que estaban dejando a un lado por desconocerla y asumir como propias culturas extranjeras. A partir del diálogo con las personas más ancianas del pueblo y con sus padres, lograron reconstruir parte de su patrimonio cultural.

    Culture is a social and symbolic representation that enriches the identity of a place and refers to the work produced by human action that can be material or immaterial; which is reproduced and enjoyed for generations, constituting the historical currents of a territory. The objective of this article is to share the results derived from the implementation of the research model as a pedagogical strategy (IEP) applied to the preservation of the cultural heritage of the Cantagallar Corregimiento. Consequently, the study was guided by the guidelines of the methodological route of the IEP, using collection instruments such as records for observation, formats for recording interviews and focus groups; the analysis unit consisted of forty (40) students of the Cantagallar Rural Educational Institution, of the Municipality of Piñón, Magdalena. The students had to debate what their municipality omitted and the cultural wealth that they were leaving aside for not knowing and assuming as their own foreign cultures. From the dialogue with the older people of the town and with their parents, I manage to rebuild part of their cultural heritage.
