    El objetivo de este artículo es analizar el componente textual y visual del libro pop-up The Dragon and the Knight, de la autoría de uno de los mayores exponentes de este formato editorial, Robert Sabuda. Después de la realización de un breve marco teórico, se reflexionará sobre la importancia de la relación entre literatura y arte en las obras dirigidas a los más jóvenes, así como las relaciones intertextuales que establecen con las producciones anteriores, prestando especial atención a los nuevos retos que su decodificación supone para el lectorado.

    The aim of this article is to analyse the textual and visual component of pop-up book The Dragon and The Knight, by Robert Sabuda, one of the greatest exponent of this editorial format. After a brief theoretical framework, it will reflect on the importance of the relationship between literature and art in the literary works for children, as well as the intertextual relationships with the previous productions, with particular attention to the new challenges of their interpretation for the readers.
