  El creciente interés de las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) latinoamericanas por las prácticas de lectura y escritura ha generado un aumento de iniciativas, como los centros y programas de escritura. Con este texto se pretende actualizar la información registrada sobre la existencia de estos espacios en las IES colombianas, para lo cual se realizó una búsqueda en páginas oficiales y bases de datos.Se hallaron 24 iniciativas que mantienen la utilización de tutorías, anuncian concepciones alineadas con los preceptos de la alfabetización académica, y presentan elementos que ponen en tensión las diferencias entre los conceptos tradicionales de centros y programas.

  The growing interest of the Latin-American colleges (IES, Spanish acronym) in the reading and writing practices has led to an increase in the number of initiatives such as the reading programs and centers.this paper intends to update the information recorded so far on the existence of such spaces within the Colombian colleges.To do so, a search was carried out among the college official websites and databases.Twenty-four initiatives were found that provide tutorial aids, enact conceptions in line with the scholarly literacy principles, and provide elements that create tensions with the differences from the traditional concepts of writing programs and centers.
