Resumen de Estudio del "code-switching" en la música actual: Repercusiones socioeconómicas de los fenómenos lingüísticos

  Nuestra investigación estudia el papel del fenómeno lingüístico del code-switching en el mundo musical. Con un enfoque empírico y cuantitativo, analizamos una muestra de 284 canciones incluidas en una de las listas musicales más relevantes (la de PROMUSICAE). Los resultados muestran que el empleo del code-switching tiene un impacto positivo sobre el éxito de la canción.

  Our research explores the role of code-switching in the music world. Drawing on an empirical and quantitative approach, we analyze a sample of 284 songs from one of the most important music charts (prepared by PROMUSICAE). Our results show that the use of code-switching is significant and positively related to success.
