    En este artículo presentamos una aproximación a los primeros años de la construcción de la catedral de Cuenca. El estudio de la historiografía y la documentación conservada en el archivo capitular nos ha permitido: rastrear las diversas inhumaciones de los tres primeros obispos de la diócesis, extraer diferentes conclusiones y presentar nuevas hipótesis. A través de la ubicación de las sepulturas de don Yáñez, don Julián y don García conocemos mejor la fase constructiva inicial.

    In this article we present an approach to the first years of the construction of the Cathedral of Cuenca. The study of the historiography and the documentation kept in the chapter file has allowed us to track the burials of the first three bishops of the diocese, to draw different conclusions and to present new hypotheses. Through the location of the graves of don Yáñez, don Julian and don García we can know better the initial construction phase.
