  • Abstract.Philips, Rutherford, and Whitten (2016,StataJournal16: 662–677)introduceddynsimpie, a command to examine dynamic compositional dependentvariables. In this article, we present an update todynsimpieand three new ado-files:cfbplot,effectsplot, anddynsimpiecoef. These updates greatly enhancethe range of models that can be estimated and the ways in which model results cannow be presented. The commanddynsimpiehas been updated so that users canobtain both prediction plots and change-from-baseline plots using postestimationcommands. With the new commanddynsimpiecoef, various types of coefficientplots can also be obtained. We illustrate these improvements using monthly dataon support for political parties in the United Kingdom
