  Este trabajo es un estudio bibliométrico descriptivo-retrospectivo que lleva a cabo una revisión bibliográfica a través de siete bases de datos a nivel nacional e internacional para recopilar diversos estudios sobre la sexualidad en el síndrome de Down y así ver su evolución a lo largo de los últimos diez años, debido a la falta de documentos sobre este tema. Los resultados obtenidos indican que la evolución de la publicación de artículos en los últimos diez años es favorable, ya que se pasa de haber uno o dos documentos en los primeros años, a haber cuatro o cinco en los últimos tres años. Sin embargo, según los resultados extraídos, parece que continúa siendo un tema del que no se habla y que requiere una educación sexual de calidad.

  This work is a descriptive-retrospective bibliometric study that carries out a bibliographic review through seven databases at the national and international level to compile various studies on sexuality in Down syndrome and thus see its evolution over the last ten years, due to the lack of documents on this topic. The results obtained indicate that the evolution of the publication of articles in the last ten years is favorable since there are now one or two documents in the first years, and four or five in the last three years. However, according to the results obtained, it seems that it continues to be a topic that is not talked about and that requires quality sex education.
