    Introducción: El suicidio es considerado la primera causa de muerte no natural en España, con un aumento alarmante de suicidios entre jóvenes de 15 a 25 años.

    Se suele acompañar con culpabilidad, hostilidad y estigmatización en el entorno del paciente, constituyendo un motivo de distrés familiar por la amenaza latente de la pérdida de quien lo pretende, que requiere de atención por parte de los profesionales de la salud. Sin embargo, el escaso conocimiento de las necesidades y percepciones de estos familiares dificultan que esa atención se adapte realmente a sus requerimientos.

    Objetivo general: Explorar cuáles son las necesidades sentidas por los familiares de pacientes jóvenes que han tenido su primer intento autolítico.

    Recogida y análisis de datos: Se basa en los principios y metodología cualitativa, mediante grupos focales con familiares de primer y segundo grado de pacientes jóvenes (18 – 25 años) que han tenido un primer intento autolítico, precisando ingreso hospitalario.

    Se realizarán tres grupos de discusión combinando diferentes tipologías y situaciones, buscando la mayor representatividad.

    El método empleado para analizar los datos será un análisis del contenido, no sólo circunscribiéndose a la interpretación del contenido manifiesto sino aplicándolo también al contexto social.

    Introduction: Suicide is considered the leading cause of unnatural death in Spain, with an alarming increase in suicides among young people aged 15 to 25 years.

    It is often accompanied by guilt, hostility, and stigmatization in the environment of the patient; constituting a source of family distress by the latent threat of the loss of who seeks it, which requires care by health professionals.

    However, little knowledge of the needs and perceptions of these families hinder such care really fits your requirements.

    General Objective: Explore what are the needs felt by the families of young patients who have had their first attempt at autolytic.

    Collection and analysis of data: It is based on the principles and qualitative methodology, through focus groups with families of first and second degree of young patients (18-25 years) who have had a first attempt at autolytic, specifying hospital admission.

    There will be three discussion groups by combining different types and situations; looking for greater representativeness.

    The method used to analyze the data will be an analysis of the content, not just confining to the interpretation of the manifest content but also applied to the social context.
