Galician primary school guidelines mention dance and movement as one of the six areas to be included in Arts education in the primary school curriculum. By means of a documentary review we explored the presence of contents related to traditional Galician music in primary school textbooks used in Galicia. For this reason, an evaluation model was prepared based on the principal examples designed by experts in the field. The aim of this study was to analyse aspects related to the promotion, dissemination and presence of Galician culture in primary school textbooks
