    Desde su concepción más temprana la educación se desarrolló con miras a formar ciudadanos productivos. Unos sabían y otros aprendían; unos fijaban los estándares, otros los seguían. A la vista de una sociedad industrial, la sociedad escolarizada fue exitosa en transformar por completo el bienestar de la población mundial en los últimos 150 años. ¿Sigue siendo así? ¿Qué cambios están ocurriendo? Todo indica que, a la lógica unidireccional de enseñar, le queda poco que aportar.

    From its earliest conception, education was developed with the objective of forming productive citizens. Some knew and others learned; some set the standards, others followed them. In the face of an industrial society, the schooled society was successful in completely transforming the well-being of the world’s population in the last 150 years. Is it still like this? What changes are happening? Everything indicates that the one-way logic of teaching does not have much to contribute.
