    Elise Richter nos dejó en su biografía no solo el testimonio de su vida, sino el de la tragedía que se vivió en Viena en la Segunda Guerra Mundial y en la época de entreguerras. Dicho libro refleja el compromiso que la vida cotidiana tiene con el presente y con el futuro. Su biografia termina con la frase de que su vida era una “vida que mereció ser vivida”. Para entender esta afirmación nos centramos en tres aspecto que recoge su obra Sume des Lebens: En su vida como estudiante, como profesora de la universidad y en su propuesta feminista. Estos aspectos tienen como categoría común el compromiso con la vida digna. Una dignidad que se ejerce en relación a la lucha por la formación y el ejercicio de su profesión. El grado de exigencia y perfecionamiento marca su demanda feminista. Elise Richter tuvo que dedicar una gran parte de su esfuerzo a superar y crear estrategias frente crueles dificultades e impedimentos que provenían de una institución organizada por hombres que mostraban resistencias a perder privilegios. Nos interesa el estudio de esta pionera universitaria para estudiar “otros posibles” que generalmente están sacados del canon literario y “hacer posible otra experiencia del nosotros” (Garcés, 2009). Parte de su legado continua en el archivo de la Universidad de Viena, sin dotación económica, para ser investigado. Sus investigaciones sobre la emoción como componente de la enseñanza en el campo de la fonética o la enseñanza del francés mediante periódicos o libros de la época, están pendientes del interés de nuevas investigaciones.

    Elise Richter left us in her biography the testimony of her life and the tragedy of the II World War and in the interwar period in Vienna. Her book reflects the commitment that everyday life has to the present and the future. Her biography ends with the phrase that her life was a life that deserved to be lived. To understand this statement we focus in her life as a student, as a professor at the university and in her feminist proposal. These aspects have as a common category the commitment to a dignified life. A dignity that is exercised in relation to the struggle for training and the exercise of their profession. The degree of demand and perfection marks its feminist demand. Elise Richter had to devote a large part of her effort to overcome and create strategies against cruel difficulties and impediments that came from an institution organized by men who showed resistance to losing privileges in the institution. We are interested in the study of this university pioneer to study other possible that are generally taken from the literary canon and make possible another experience of the us (Garcés, 2009). Part of his legacy continues in the file of the University of Vienna, without economic endowment, to be investigated. Her research on emotion as a component of teaching in the field of phonetics or the teaching of French through newspapers or books of the time, are pending the interest of new research.
