    Es muy probable que usted haya escuchado o leído en más de una ocasión frases del tipo: “No creo en el castigo. El castigo no funciona. El castigo es opresivo o una forma de maltrato. El castigo daña la autoestima. El castigo traumatiza. Se puede y se debe educar solo con refuerzos. Y todo esto está además demostrado por la investigación”. Pues bien, todas estas afirmaciones son absurdas, medias verdades o incluso falsas.

    It is very likely that you have heard or read on more than one occasion phrases of the type: "I do not believe in punishment. The punishment does not work. The punishment is oppressive or a form of abuse. The punishment damages self-esteem. The traumatizing punishment. It can and should be educated only with reinforcements. And all this is further demonstrated by research". Well, all these statements are absurd, half truths or even false.
