The concept of heritage has experienced a great evolution in recent decades. It is something worthy but insufficient since its expansion must continue and even more if we stick it to the context of the current crisis; since having the significant erosion of the welfare state into account, How can we not consider such a rich heritage as a legacy that needs to be protected and preserved? To shape this proposal, we will find in contemporary art a suitable way, since departing from practices characterized by annulling barriers between artist and viewer as well as reinforcing the autotransforming capacity of the individual, there will be able to be reached a new conscience and a more active role in citizenshipág. Thus society may acquire the lucidity and the necessary leading to be able to decide about what should or what should not be preserved; here, the care of education and culture promotion will be crucial.
