  • Resumen
    • The response of chemistry educators to rapid changes in teaching modalities that resulted from the disruption associated with the global COVID-19 pandemic is chronicled via a wide range of papers in this special issue. Hundreds of authors contributed to manuscripts representing a broad cross section of areas of chemistry and many different emphases of the faculty and student experience of emergency remote teaching and learning. Ideas and approaches that were tried in trying times are reported in this collection of papers, as well as how well they worked. This snapshot essentially represents a nearly real-time corpus of papers about how rapid change was effected in chemistry teaching and what some of the effects of the change were.
