  Recogemos en este artículo las voces y expresiones de la haquitía tangerina en el idiolecto de la protagonista de La vida perra de Juanita Narboni. Estos préstamos proceden en su gran mayoría del árabe marroquí. El resto tienen su origen en el hebreo, el castellano antiguo, el portugués y el andaluz occidental. El autor de la novela, Ángel Vázquez (Tánger, 1929), debió de oír esta variante lingüística entre los judíos tangerinos durante su infancia y hasta que se marchó de la ciudad en 1965.

  The focus of the present article is the analyses of the words and expressions of the tangerine haquitía in the idiolect of the protagonist of The Wretched Life of Juanita Narboni. The major part of these loan words and expressions have their origin in Moroccan Arabic, while the rest came from Hebrew, Old Castilian, Portuguese and Western Andalusian. We assume that the author of the novel, Ángel Vázquez (Tangier, 1929), must have heard this linguistic variant spoken by members of the Jewish community of Tangier during his childhood years and before he left this city in 1965.
