La ironía consiste en usar las palabras o expresiones lingüísticas con un sentido contrario al significado literal en determinadas situaciones comunicativas.Debe considerarse no solo como recurso discursivo sino cognitivo. Su análisis, forzosamente, obedece a un enfoque pragmático y discursivo. En esta oportunidad se analiza la ironía a partir de los enunciados irónicos presentes en el editorial El rey Momo está desnudo del politólogo y humorista Laureano Márquez. Se recurre al Principio de Cooperación de Grice. Este principio se basa en ciertos requisitos que todo hablante/oyente debe seguir para entender y hacerse entender. Se establecen cuáles son las máximas de este principio que son infringidas y cuáles son los incumplimientos. Además se establecen las características de los elementos pragmáticos del evento comunicativo.
The irony consists of the use of words or linguistic expressions to imply something different from their literal meaning in certain communicative situations. It should be considered not only as a discursive resource but also as cognitive. In this case, the analysis must be based on a pragmatic and discursive approach. The article analyzes irony from some ironic statements presented in the editorial King Momo is naked, whose author is the politician and humorist LaureanoMárquez. To analyze this expressions the Cooperative Principle of Grice is used. This principle is based on certain requirements that every speaker / listener must accomplish to understand and to be understood. Here, it is set what are the maximum principles which are being flouted and which are unfulfillments. Furthermore, the characteristics of the pragmatic elements of that particular communicative event are established in this study.
