Las dos décadas siguientes a la Guerra Civil española se caracterizan por el régimen autárquico, el cual llevara a la economía del país, al final de los años 50 del pasado siglo, al borde del colapso. El Plan de Estabilización impulsó unas reformas que llevaron a unas mejoras económicas que, junto a la relajación de fronteras y controles, fueron los factores que hicieron que una incipiente actividad, el turismo, se convirtiera en la primera industria de España.
En este artículo analizamos cómo afectaron estos sucesos a la ciudad de Marbella a través del tiempo.
The two decades following the Spanish Civil War are characterized by the autarchic regime, which will lead the economy of the country, at the end of the 50s of the last century, to the verge of collapse. The Stabilization Plan prompted reforms that led to economic improvements and along with the relaxation of borders and controls were the factors that made an incipient activity, tourism, become the first industry in Spain. In this article we analyze how these events affect the city of Marbella through time.
