Resumen de Observatorio Regional de Calidad y Equidad de la Educación Superior en Latinoamerica (ORACLE)

  Una preocupación de las Instituciones de Educación Superior (IES) es el logro del equilibrio entre la calidad y la equidad educativas con la finalidad de responder a las diversas demandas y necesidades sociales, sobre todo las de aquellos grupos que se encuentran en situación de vulnerabilidad. El presente estudio o proyecto –en proceso– está dirigido a la creación de un Observatorio Regional, constituido por observatorios institucionales, que analizará, contrastará y definirá acciones conducentes al logro del referido equilibrio. El proyecto ORACLE se estructura en tres fases que coinciden con cada uno de los tres años de desarrollo. En cada fase/año se ha distribuido el total de objetivos y actividades que responden a criterios específicos dado las características heterogéneas de las instituciones/países que participan.

  A concern of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) is the achievement of the balance between educational quality and equity in order to respond to the diverse demands and social needs, especially those of those groups that are in a situation of vulnerability. The present study or project –in process– is aimed at the creation of a Regional Observatory, constituted by institutional observatories, which will analyze, contrast and define actions conducive to the achievement of said balance. The ORACLE project is structured in three phases that coincide with each of the three years of development.
