  • Resumen
    • The objective of this paper is to explore improvements in the learning process for Computer Science using a new tool (an IDEsimulator) and to demonstrate the pedagogic and cognitive aspects of the tool. This work presents the design and implementation of aweb-based self-assessment environment with multi-language programming questions. The application has been implemented in acomplete e-learning system, known as AulaWeb, and is being used as a facility to encourage students on computer science courses topractice programming techniques with different programming languages, for example, Java and C/C++. Furthermore, this paperdescribes the pedagogical methodology and some results drawn from the experience.
