  • The sedimentation in the synorogenic Jaea Basin (South Pyrenean foreland basin) takes place in the Guarga Sinclinorium, during middle Eocene-Oligocene coevally with the most important stages of its orogenie evolution. This work is related to the stratigraphic sequences (Groups, Megasequenees and Sequences) in which this sedimentary infill is arranged. The new sedimentary division has been supported by means of the identification and detailed cartography of the different boundaries between the main stratigraphic sequences.
