    Este artículo muestra que el sentido religioso de las celebraciones de la «Semana Santa» en Valledupar tiene un fondo cultural que es característico de las Aldeas de la primera mitad del siglo XX.Este sentido cultural – religioso no se modificó con el proceso de urbanización y supervive en la actualidad.

    This article shows that the religious sense of the celebrations of the «Week Santa» in Valledupar has a cultural sense that is characteristic of the Villages of the first half of the XX century. This cultural sense–religious didn’t modify with the urbanization process and it survives at the present time.
